How Not To look For Dinosaurs: The Trilogy
In this project I investigated different ways books can be interactive with the audience, and experimented with how the narrative can affect the form and shape of the book. I created a silent story (inspired by my interest in dinosaurs) that is split between three books about an explorer searching for dinosaurs!
The illustrations stretch over the folds of each pull out page, encouraging the readers to twist and turn the book to follow the explorer’s adventure.
Each book’s focus is on one particular dinosaur from the late Jurassic period.
The teeth pull tabs let the books fold out to reveal a hidden map and a large poster for the reader to colour in!
